Kevin Kadar

We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden death of artist Kevin Kadar (February 1955 to December 2025) after a brief medical battle.  We are mourning the loss of a dear friend and treasured artist who worked with Froelick Gallery since it opened in 1995.  Kadar's paintings are all now on reserve until his estate details are completed.

Kadar's paintings are imbued with a timeless, otherworldly quality, whether his subjects are dynamic nudes, surrealistic allegorical scenes or masterful landscapes which allude to his years spent painting and museum-going around Europe.

Kevin Kadar was a graduate of Cooper Union in New York City. His artwork is included in many corporate, private and public collections including the Tacoma Art Museum, The Oregon Historical Society and the Hallie Ford Museum of Art at Willamette University in Salem, OR.
