Love Lies Bleeding, also known as Amaranth, is an old fashioned, cottage garden flower that has long, wine-red tassels of bloom. The dangling ropes of tiny burgundy blossoms have a wonderful texture, like soft chenille. Kris started this piece while still recovering from carpal tunnel surgery in both hands. Archival framing with black moulding, 46 3/8 x 34 3/8 in, Plexiglass.
