Phineas VanKouwenhoven is an artist and recent graduate of Whitman College. Originally from Walla Walla, in Eastern Washington, Phineas interned with Froelick Gallery in the summer of 2024. After completing his undergraduate degree in studio arts, with a focus on oil painting and printmaking processes, Phineas returned to Portland and joined Froelick Gallery full-time as a registrar in June 2025.
