This was published in conjunction with the exhibition of the same name, which was held in 1998 at Froelick Adelhart Gallery in Portland, OR. The catalog includes high-resolution reproduction of selected works in the exhibition. The catalog also features a critical essay by Lois Allan entitled, "Rick Bartow: Dance Harder! (Hal o may yah)," and a poem by the artist.
Lois Allan is a Portland-based freelance art writer, a contributing editor to Artweek and the author of Contemporary Art in the Northwest, 1995, and Contemporary Printmaking in the Northwest, 1997, both published by Craftsman House, G+B Arts International, Sydney.
