Due to the high volume of pieces in this exhibition, this page has just a brief sample of works currently on display at the gallery. For a comprehensive view of all of Prochaska's works available please see the link below.
“Boiler Room, Steelhead, and Just Enough” a memorial survey exhibition of 100
paintings, prints, drawings and glass by Tom Prochaska is now on view at Froelick Gallery.
Prochaska's imagery moves between loose references to finely specific observations and trippy imaginings; snapshots that are poignant, sexy, humorous and confounding. Born in 1945 in Chicago, he passed away March 3 after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Experimental, highly adept, and prolific, he was committed to making art every day of his life and did so up to the very end.
Tom's family has identified The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research for contributions honoring his memory, see link below.
