Boraz comments, "This work is part of my collection for my 2026 solo exhibition at Froelick Gallery, focused on the acts of giving and taking. It is based on a photograph I took of a friend in the process of weaning her child. In the image, she steadies her child while her partner is a more abstract figure, cradling the two of them from overhead. I wanted to capture the exhaustion of care and the weight of love for a being who is deeply dependent, as well as the simultaneous effort to reclaim one’s own autonomy."
