"Creation Myth: The World Sets In Motion is a watercolor painting that I made as part of a series of alternative origin stories known as creation myths. In this compostion I was interested in understaning the world as a hyper-object whose very movement is life cycles.
Growing up in a multigenerational family of Mexican field workers I experienced both a great connection to time, the land, and the seasons. I also also experienced constant movement and forced relocation and migration. This watercolor is a mapping of those forces within my immagination."
