dark circular shape with lines emerging, 'XIV' Bartow made this after visiting Arizona and New Mexico for exhibitions of his work. He experienced fantastic Summer sunami's, southwest rain clouds, and after returning home he made a series of works inspired by rain clouds and pueblo architecture, as well as Kivas and sweat lodges, clam shovels and boat shapes which he noted to have visual similarities . Bartow sited references to Charles Froelick.
