The Smithsonian Institution presents an interview with Kay WalkingStick conducted on August 29, 2020 by Melissa Ho, Curator of 20th C. Art, for the Archives of American Art's Pandemic Oral History Project. WalkingStick participated in the interview via Zoom at her home in Easton, Pennsylvania. 

 

WalkingStick discusses the ways her life and studio practice have changed during the pandemic. She reflects on contemporary social justice movements and how movements for gender and racial equity have evolved since the 1960s-70s.
