Portland assemblage artist Willie Little creates work that celebrates his family history in North Carolina while also tacking issues of racial and social justice. His installation "Juke Joint", recreating his father's nighttime liquor house, is now part of the permanent collection of the Smithsonian's National Museum of African-American History and Culture.
