Matthew Dennison’s eccentric, poignant paintings draw upon his deep ecological and political concerns. He depicts oblivious humans in the company of wise-looking animals, placeless urban scenes and serene but threatened natural places. A portion of this exhibition includes a selection from 365 small paintings on vintage book covers that he created daily in 2017 as a reaction to each day’s news cycle.
