"Hand of the Maker" epitamizes Banyas' love of her craft and her mastery of metal and enamel. It celebrates the process of making with the iconography of her art: the tools themselves tatooed on the hand of the maker.
Martha was represented by William Jamison throughout the 80's until his retirement. Copies of the beautufil monograph published about Banyas and her career are available at Froelick Gallery.
