has been painting for over thirty years, almost exclusively in the Pacific Northwest. Her work has always been deeply emotional, utilizing bold, expressive color and gestural brush strokes. In this new body of work Thorsnes again delves into her own psyche via depictions of adult relationships, parent/child interactions and ambiguous scenes of children at play.
