Dulce Montalvo-Hilts

Dulce Montalvo (she/her) is a Mexican American multidisciplinary artist and curator. She graduated from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City in 2016. She is currently the Assistant Director of Froelick Gallery in Portland, Oregon where she helps represent a diverse roster of contemporary artists, each with strong and independent voices. In 2020, Montalvo curated and was featured in Nuestro Camino, a Portland-based Latinx Art Exhibition where she highlighted the art and culture of Mayan, Aztecan, Mesoamerican, and Chicano artists. Dulce Montalvo is passionate about her creative vision of growing a community of BIPOC artists to culturally influence and engage with a broader audience.
